Bump Watch...

I've switched the phone to silent.

You might remember me
freaking out a few months ago
because after 4 winter births, this was going to be my first summer baby.

You know,
perfectly rational fears
about
possible whale sightings on the beach etc...

Well apart from
TMI ALERT
hideous chafing
(you're welcome)
hospital hypochondriacs
(most doctors are retarded)
and giving
Mel B a run
for her money in the bootylicious preggo bottom department
(we could be twins - just imagine me in the 'burbs, blonde, without the full face of make up or paparazzi lurking in the backyard)

it's been pretty cruisy.

The last few days have been spent marinating in the pool, taking indulgent nanna naps on the couch with the air con full ball
and
getting totally sucked into Bold & The Beautiful.

So please excuse the lack of posts and pics hogging your facebook news feeds.

Being lazy is extremely underrated.

Expected due date is 14th Jan.

Enjoy your pregnant self while you can, sweetie!! People used to think I was kidding when I said I preferred the baby inside the womb - no mess, no fuss, no crying. I wasn't kidding. (And here's me, pretending to be all hard-arsed about it when my own summer baby is two tomorrow, and all I can think abou is how big she is and what I'd give for another baby...) Enjoy your bump!!! xxxxx

Good luck, I'm sure you will be telling the nurses how to do it! At least hospitals have air con!;)

Hey there boombah, i had twins, in December, in Darwin, full term, NOTHING is hotter, sweatier, or more whale like that that. My other children were conveniently spaced out in Autumn & Winter, lovely fresh evening night feeds, glorious, i never had to peel their faces from my boobs, except the fact they all fed 18-24 months which crossed many sweaty Summers.
I have a nice on the 14th & she's totally awesome, so good luck with your landing date. Does it fit in with your weekend plans?? Are you putting up an anti neighbour electric shock fence?? All i wanted to be in was my knickers!! All day!! Especially while doing housework. Nothing a shower & AC couldn't fix. Oh those were the days. Love Posie

I'm hearing ya! I too had my elder 4 in the nice cooler months and have bub 5 in Oct of 2011. I too wanted nothing more than to lock all doors, crank up the a/c and walk around the house in my underwear, pretending life doesn't exist outside these walls. The worst part I found was all the driving around, in and out of hot hot cars. Whoever made it law in Qld that you can't have your window down (even a smidgeon) when your car is unattended obviously had undercover parking and didn't have kids to put in their car. Goodluck with the birth :)

Ring Ring, Ring Ring,

Hi Whoa Mumma

It's Ellie just ringing to see if you have had the baby yet. The hits on your page will have probably peaked over the last few days as I keep logging on to see if you have had the bay bee yet.

Okay bye
