7 Christmassy Things You Don't Know About Me
You're welcome.
1. I'm Polish.
Not like shoe polish but as in from Poland.
So no Christmas is complete without Polish food.
Cooked by my mother because as we've already established I AM LAZY.
Poppy seed cake (to sedate the relos), Polish potato salad, meat jelly (oh, I KNOW you want some of that) and when not breeding, copious amounts of vodka - the real spirit of Christmas.
2. I give the kids FANTASTIC gifts.
This year
they're getting a plethora of cool stuff.
But I am a terrible gift giver where the husband is concerned.
He is given free reign
to buy himself WHATEVER he wants
and to throw it under the tree
just to save me the headache.
3. I always say I don't want Santa to bring me anything
(this applies to birthdays, Valentines Day and anniversaries)
but would totally sulk if there wasn't anything under the tree for me.
About to drop not so subtle hints -
Blinged out white Guess watch.
And this closet.
That's not asking for too much, is it?
4. When it's not raining
PLEASE DO NOT RAIN THIS YEAR
THE RAIN MAKES
ME CRAZY
we like to spend the day at the beach.
5. Essential Christmas viewing.
All the dodgy stop motion shows and cartoons from the 60s
and
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
6. Instead of a Christmas morning shlumping around in our PJs, being slobs because it's too damn hot to do anything else,
I fantasise about one day having a
cold, white Christmas
with
all the trimmings.
That somebody else sets up, cooks for and cleans up after.
Because - repeat after me - I'M LAZY!
7. Christmas is about the only time I can get the kids to sit still for 30 seconds CLEAN & CLOTHED
for a family photo.

Ha I love it! We sound very similar in taste! I am totally lazy when it comes to Christmas food too, bugger spending all day in the kitchen...hope your enjoying the cooler weather...pity about the rain though...Polish food looks yummo!x
